“ Taqeria El Burrito is open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. and located right of F Street in small outdoor mall near downtown Davis. It serves a variety of Mexican dishes for lunch and diner in the $10.00 to $20.00 range. There are Mescian restaurants everwhere, but some do it better than others. Taqueria El Burrito is one of those places. It offers free chips and salsa with a large variety of sauces that range from the mild, to "My tongue's on fire!" Don't fill up on chips though, there's a delicious variety of tacos, burritos, tortas, nachos, and more to indulge in. The carnitas super burrito is my favorite because its loaded with meat, rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, and cheese. It's size, falvor, and jucieness make it one of the best burritos around in my opinion. Speaking from experience, it is pure glutton satisfaction. The restaurant is casual so you order at the counter and pick up your food when they call your number. The employees are hard working, so they get the food out quickly. It's clean inside with pleanty of seating during busy periods. Just writing this review is making my mouth water thinking about that burrito. I'm looking forward to my visit! ”
“ Decent spot for Mexican food and the workers are nice. It always seems a bit busy inside too. I've had the birria tacos here before and wanted to try their regular tacos. I got the combo plate with two al pastor tacos. Nothing still beats the tacos from home in San Diego but this was good. Rice and beans were pretty filling and love the free chips and salsa bar. My only complaint is that I wish they had limes available at the salsa bar. ”
“ I accidentally ordered 5 tacos and I don't regret it a single bit. I used to frequent this taqueria with friends. The place is big with lots of seatings so it can definitely handle a big group dinner. Service is friendly and fast. I wanted to order three tacos. One chicken one beef and one fish. But I accidentally ordered three chicken tacos and a fish taco and a beef taco. Didn't even realize my mistake till food came to my table cuz the tacos are really affordable. Didn't flinch at the payment screen thinking oh yea that's a good price for 3 tacos. But yea I got 5. I was at first worried I won't finish them but they were so good they were gone fast. The proteins are seasoned well and cook to a good texture. The tortillas are tasty too. The value is great. Would definitely come back and intentionally order 5 tacos next time. ”

Absolutely spectacular- way better than chipotle (and cheaper). We also got a veggie burrito with grilled vegetables added that was good too (4/5). Free chips and Salsa makes this place 5/5 for sure. Also the service was insanely fast! We sat down and basically instantly received our burritos! ”
“ The best Mexican food downtown. Pretty cheap for less than $15 for a big meal. Service isn't the fastest, but good free chips. There is always seating. Ambiance is worse than Guads but food is better with a bigger menu as well. You can't really go wrong with anything kn the menu, but I'd also recommend trying their flan. ”
